Superbowl Sunday - Football Nails

Happy Superbowl Sunday Everyone! I'm going to be honest, I dislike Football and have never been a fan. I grew up in a Football loving family - but just never took to liking the sport. However, I love the Superbowl (maybe it's the excuse of making fun snacks and pigging out while watching the commercials)? Any who, last night - I decided to do some last minute Football Nails. My husband wanted me to do 49ers & Ravens nails, but I didn't feel like it, so I kept it simple!

I started with a plain base of white polish on all my fingers except for my ring & thumb, which I used Essie Mink Muffs. On the brown, I added the white stripes to make it look like football laces. On the white base, I used some striping tape and taped off three lines, then did a green gradient using Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Going Green, China Glaze Gaga for Green & Bettina Green Apple. After two coats of the gradient (which I am getting better at), I peeled off the striping tape. I added a yellow field goal post using China Glaze Solar Power, then my top coat. That's it! I took inspiration for this mani from THIS post from Polish Me Please.
