I am so excited about this post. I recently received some Sation polishes to try out and review here on the blog for you! I have been crushing on Sation polishes ever since I saw them on Let Them Have Polish. The bright colors, excellent formulas - who wouldn't want to try them out? I have picked up a few here and there at my local TJ Maxx and have fallen in love.
Today, I am showing you four colors from the Candylandia Collection. This collection has 12 candy-coated colros with a "mouth watering range of confectionary names". Obviously, the polishes were inspired by the board game Candy Land, which I am sure we all have heard of! Each color is vibrant and is begging to be worn this Spring/Summer Season. So let's get to the swatches :)
First up is Lollipop! Goes the Princess.
This is a "pretty, pale periwinkle". This is a light, beautiful color that lends more to purple than blue, in my opinion. I enjoyed the pale-ness of this periwinkle, it's perfect when you want to be subtle, yet bright. This is two coats with no top coat. The formula was so smooth!
Next up, this is Abbacadazzle!
This is a "yummy sunflower yellow". This one definitely needs some undies! What you see is three coats of it, no top coat, and clearly I still have some VNL. It applied smoothly, and it's a pretty jelly. I don't think this color compliments my skin tone very well, it looks a bit more orange on me than yellow.
Next up is Queenie In A Bottle!
This one is a "royally rich pink" - which was a surprise stunner! This is three coats with no top coat so you can see the fun, rubbery finish it has. It applied so smoothly and has a nice creamy, rich pink color to it - which is pretty accurate to the description. I loved the brightness of it!
Lastly, this is Paint Some Sugar On Me!
This is a "sparkly blue-raspberry" - which is definitely pretty! I am usually not a fan of navy or dark blue polishes, but this one had some gorgeous shimmer and sparkle to it - which made me fall in love. What you see is two coats with no top coat. Smooth application!
Overall, I loved these four polishes from the Candylandia Collection, and the other colors from the collection look equally as amazing. The formulas were AMAZING, the polishes went on so smoothly and cleanly, I didn't have any problems with drag when applying the second coat (which I find in a lot of jelly polishes). The brushes were perfect for my nails, personally - not too thick but not too thin - JUST RIGHT! The colors are bright and in trend, perfect for the Spring/Summer season. I have so many nail art ideas floating around in my head that are PERFECT for the upcoming season and will be PERFECT with these colors :)
Sation Polishes are available on the Miss Professional Nail Website (FOUND HERE) for $5. I would definitely recommend checking them out! I can see this brand taking the nail polish world by storm with their creative collections and perfect colors.
All Sation polishes are free of DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde.

ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful! I've been wanting to try this brand for a while. I absolutely love Lollipop! Goes the Princess and Paint Some Sugar On Me - the last one reminds me of the night sky!
ReplyDeleteAbbacadazzle and Paint Some Sugar on Me are my favorites of these 4! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI *love* Sation polishes, and there are several in this collection I feel a definite need to get my hands on! I'm crazy about periwinkles and teals, so I definitely want Lolipop!, as well as Unicorns Are Teal (because seriously, teal and unicorns? I must have it ;p). I wasn't drawn to it right away, but Abbacadazzle looks like it would make some beautifully summery jelly sandwiches, and the rubbery finish of Queenie in a Bottle is really cool. Awesome swatches, Heather!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful swatches, Heather!
