China Glaze Avant Garden - Pt. Two

Hello Ladies! I have another post to show you three more polishes from the China Glaze Avant Garden Spring 2013 Collection (you can view my first post with the reds/pinks HERE). This post showcases three of the blue-ish tones that come from this collection. I have a quick nail design to show, then swatches of each color on it's own.

To come up with this design, I started with a white base coat, then used my striper brush and painted on random shapes using Fade Into Hue, Sunday Funday & Fancy Pants. I used my white striper brush to make the lines. Looking back on this design, it really makes my nails look uneven (as you can see on my pointer finger). I'm trying to practice making straight lines with my brushes.

This is Fade Into Hue. Fade Into Hue is a "periwinkle creme". It's a gorgeous, subtle shade that leans a bit towards gray. I can see some daisies being painted over this color. The formula was a bit thick, but manageable.

This is Fancy Pants. Fancy Pants is an "indigo with pink and purple shimmer". I honestly didn't see much of the pink and purple shimmer, but there is definitely shimmer in this color. It's a deeper blue, but still very vibrant and rich in color! Application was easy with this one.

This is Sunday Funday. Sunday Funday is a "bright blue" - almost like a robin's egg blue. This color is bright and so fun to wear! It's hand's down my favorite of these three blue polishes. It's much brighter in real life - you can sort of see it's true color in the bottom right photo. Application was a breeze.
Overall, I love these three blue colors from the Avant Garden Collection. My favorite being Sunday Funday! Application was nice, and again - these shades are perfect for Spring. They're not super pastel colors and they pack loads of hidden shimmer
China Glaze Avant Garden Collection will be available in March 2013.
