It's Day 26 of the New 31 Day Challenge with Crumpet's Nail Tarts & the challenge today is to create a mani inspired by my country. Well, I live in the United States and I tossed a few ideas around in my head. After two and a half failed manis, I came up with this - camo. I am a military wife, Air Force Wife to be specific - and I decided to dedicate this post to the US Military, all branches. I originally wanted to do the Air Force symbol, but realized I just don't have the skills for that one! What you see here is my version of the camo that is on my husband's uniform. It has more of a digitized look - but I keep it blotchy on the nails. I used a beige from The New Black Walrus Collection, ULTA Army of 1, Kleancolor Military Green & Essence Walk on the Wild Side. Unfortunately, Walk on the Wild Side had a shimmer to it, which makes it look bubbled in the photos. I'll live though.
Tomorrow's Challenge is A Mani Inspired By ME!
