It's Day 23 of the New 31 Day Challenge with Crumpet's Nail Tarts! The challenge today is to create a mani inspired by nature. I decided to do something inspired by nature and my name - the Heather flower. I have never actually seen a real Heather since they grow mostly in Western Europe so I had to rely on Google Images to get some inspiration. I hate that my name means flower instead of something cool - but at least it's a pretty flower!
Here's What I Used: The New Black UnNamed (neutral), SH Xtreme Wear Emerald City (green), Kleancolor Lavenbaby (light purple) & Kleancolor True Purple (dark purple).

ReplyDeleteReally lovely! I have adored heather since I was a kid. We have a couple varieties of heather that grow wild on the northern and central coast of California. In season I always have a variety that I grow in pots. There is one I use for shurbs that we call 'false' heather' too. It's well named as it only has the purple color of heather and kind of a soft fern looking feathery needle like leaves on stalks. So do look around - I bet unless you live in a desert there is some type of heather that will grow where you live.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I'd love to see Heather in real life... I plan on visiting Ireland sometime in my life, and I hear they have fields of it!! In the meantime, I may try to find some that will grow where I live!! Thanks for doing such a beautiful mani in honor of "our" name!! :)
