It's Day 17 of the New 31 Day Challenge with Crumpet's Nail Tarts and the challenge for today is, a New Technique. This means to create a mani using a nail art technique that was new to us! So, I went for the short brushstroke mani! I intentionally had done this for the Digit-al Dozen Art Week - but felt it fit better in this category. It sort of almost looks like watercolor. I started with a base of white, then used a nail art brush and did various colors over top of it. Then I added the lines just for contrast and fun :)
Here's What I Used:
Purple: Essie Sexy Divide
Fuchsia: Urban Decay Miss T
Pink: Nina Ultra Pro Fuchsia Rage
Green: Color Club Twiggie
Mint: Finger Paints 15 Minutes of Frame
Yellow: NYC Lexington Yellow
Orange: China Glaze Papaya Punch
Tomorrow's Challenge is Your Oldest Untried!
I love how the lines break up the art!! :))
